Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
● Supervise daily housekeeping activities across guest rooms and public areas.
● Ensure all rooms meet "guest-ready" standards before check-in.
● Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols.
● Monitor usage of cleaning supplies and chemicals, ensuring cost-effective practices.
● Manage laundry and linen inventory in coordination with vendors.
Team Leadership & Coordination
● Assign tasks and schedules to housekeeping associates.
● Train team members on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and brand SOPs.
● Motivate and mentor the team to uphold service consistency and discipline.
● Coordinate effectively with the front office and maintenance for operational efficiency.
Guest Experience & Quality Assurance
● Address guest complaints or requests promptly and courteously.
● Ensure lost and found procedures are followed with accuracy and integrity.
● Maintain brand consistency across all guest touchpoints through attention to detail.
● Regularly review guest feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
Inventory & Reporting
● Maintain housekeeping records — room status, supplies, and maintenance checklists.
● Conduct daily briefings to align on priorities and occupancy-related planning.
● Report equipment issues, stock shortages, and other operational concerns proactively.
What We're Looking For
Education
Diploma or Certificate in Housekeeping or Hospitality Management preferred. Minimum 12th pass with relevant hotel housekeeping experience will also be considered.
Skills & Experience
● 2–4 years of hands-on experience in hotel housekeeping operations.
● Strong knowledge of cleaning SOPs, room inspections, and chemical usage.
● Experience in team coordination, inventory control, and laundry management.
● Ability to handle guest requests, multitask, and maintain composure under pressure.
● Candidates from Room Attendant or Senior Housekeeping Associate roles aspiring for supervisory growth are encouraged to apply.
