SENIOR POWER BI Developer

1. BI Solution Design & Architecture

· Design and implement scalable and efficient Power BI solutions.

· Define the overall data architecture strategy aligned with business goals.

· Ensure integration with existing data platforms, warehouses, and cloud services.

2. Dashboard & Report Development

· Develop, manage, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.

· Translate complex data into clear, actionable visualizations.

· Optimize performance and usability of reports for end users.

3. Data Modeling & Integration

· Create and manage data models using DAX and Power Query.

· Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.

· Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reports.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

· Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.

· Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and IT teams to ensure data readiness.

· Provide training and support to Power BI users across the organization.

5. Governance & Best Practices

· Establish and enforce Power BI development standards and governance policies.

· Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

· Promote self-service BI while maintaining control over critical data assets.

6. Continuous Improvement

· Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends.

· Recommend improvements to existing BI systems and processes.

· Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new BI tools or methodologies.

Key Skills & Qualifications

· Strong experience in Power BI development and architecture.

· Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and SQL.

· Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
