  • We are seeking a Power BI Developer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analytics, visualization, and Power BI tools to provide insightful reports and dashboards.
  • As a Power BI Developer, you will work with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements, design and develop dashboards and provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards based on business requirements.
  • Create and maintain data models and perform data transformations using Power Query and DAX Query.
  • Integrate Power BI with various data sources (Snowflake, Excel, SharePoint, etc.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and other team members to gather and analyze requirements for data visualization solutions.
  • Assist with providing training to end-users on how to use Power BI tools effectively.
  • Monitor the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards and optimize report performance and efficiency.
  • Follow best practices for Power BI development, deployment, version control, and usage.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Strong proficiency in Power BI including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
  • Experience with data modeling and knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases (e.g Snowflake, SQL Developer).
  • Ability to work with large datasets and optimize queries for performance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with data visualization is the best practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field (preferred).
  • Certification in Power BI or Microsoft Data Analyst Associate (preferred).
  • Experience with other Microsoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience in implementing Power BI in an enterprise-level environment.
  • Experience in the Life Sciences and Health Industry.
