Role & responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Java-based applications.
  • Write efficient and maintainable code following best practices in software development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Implement microservices and APIs to ensure seamless integration between services.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues.
  • Work with version control systems like Git to maintain and manage code repositories.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies for iterative development cycles.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in Java and related technologies.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 6 to 11 years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8 or later) and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot.
  • In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful web services.
  • Proficiency with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, and familiarity with JPA/Hibernate.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Selenium.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Angular or React is an advantage.
