Senior Commissioning Engineer

The Senior Commissioning Engineer will be based in Hyderabad, India. In this position, you will report to the Commissioning Manager. The Commissioning service teams goal is to facilitate a positive customer experience with Nextracker after the sale. He/She will ensure Nextrackers product and continuing service support exceeds the customers expectations and is of the highest quality possible, developing customer loyalty by optimizing the product to the customers needs and providing great technical support services. This position includes 3 main responsibilities: test and commissioning of on-site customer systems per the arranged schedule with the client, expertise in our technology and system configurations, management of local customer interphase for testing and corrective services. Here is a glimpse of what youll do:

• Test and commission Nextracker tracker installations and provide training to onsite Nextracker employees and partner companies
• Provide tracker controller expertise, supporting controller commissioning process and on-going maintenance.
• Provide technical support for Nextracker customers, ensuring best-in-class customer experience and providing product and systems expertise to maximize customer value.
• Manage controller commissioning process for customer acceptance of Nextracker tracker installations for placement of warranty.
• Play a key role in third party qualification for O&M providers.
• Support product development, sales, and marketing as requested.
• Work closely with remote Tech-support team to provide the field remediation and documenting all lesson learnt and observations.
• Assist as required in field testing of product prototypes and beta product lines.
• Support in the development of product technical documentation for Commissioning and O&M, including revision control.
• As part of Asset Management be an internal customer advocate within Nextracker

Here is some of what youll need (required):

• Engineering Graduate with (5-8) years of experience in commissioning the solar tracker system, and a handful of knowledge on renewable projects.
• Development, Test, Implementation and Maintenance/Modification of Control, Automation and communication network establishment.
• Effectively use dashboards, visualizations, and automation to creatively deliver data analytic insights.
