Position: Sourcing Regional Manager - F&V

Location: Bengaluru( Dasanapura )

Role & responsibilities

Required Education and Experience: Graduate/Postgraduate in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields and 7 to 12 years of experience in a retail or FMCG - F&V background.

Preferred: FnV Sourcing Manager will be responsible for end-to-end sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management of Fruits & Vegetables (FnV). The role requires driving sales contribution, maintaining healthy margins, ensuring timely procurement from farmers and collection centers (CCs), and implementing efficient sourcing strategies to achieve business objectives across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

* Drive Sales Right assortment, seasonal offers, visibility on app/stores.

* Maintain Margin  Direct farmer sourcing, dynamic pricing, reduce waste.

* Forecasting  Data-led demand plan, store-DC sync, buffer stock.

* CC Audit & Grievances  Strong SOPs, farmer feedback loop, staff training.

* CC DC Cutoff – Fixed schedules, GPS tracking, backup logistics.

* Farmer Base – Onboard more farmers, timely payments, retention drives.

* 5 CC Sourcing Rule – Crop calendar mapping, multi-location sourcing.

* Farmer Contribution T1/T2 – Hub & spoke model, FPO partnerships.

* Daily Price Approvals – Central pricing cell, automated workflow.

* Diversification – Multi-region sourcing, seasonal shifts, contracts.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in FnV sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management.

Excellent forecasting, planning, and negotiation skills.

Ability to build and maintain farmer networks and vendor relationships.

Strong knowledge of crop calendars, pricing dynamics, and market trends.

Leadership skills to manage CCs, DCs, and cross-functional teams.

Analytical mindset with focus on reducing wastage and maximizing profitability.
