Job Title: Line Cook / Commi I, II, III / DCDP / CDPLocation: Mumbai

Salary Range: ₹14,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Experience Required: 1 to 5 years

Job Summary:We are looking for passionate and skilled Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing quality dishes, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations under pressure.

  • Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
  • Assist in mise-en-place and daily kitchen setup.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the kitchen area.
  • Handle kitchen equipment and ingredients safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure portion control and food presentation are consistent.
  • Support senior chefs (CDP / DCDP) in daily operations.
  • Check stock levels and assist in inventory control.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs.
  • Coordinate effectively with service staff to ensure timely food delivery.
  • Required Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of handmade pasta preparation (e.g., ravioli, fettuccine, gnocchi, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of Continental / Italian / Modern Café Cuisine.
  • Knife handling and kitchen safety.
  • Time management and teamwork under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain hygiene and consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts (morning, evening, or night).
  • Preferred Additional Skills:Basic sauce making and baking knowledge.
  • Plating and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with FIFO and kitchen inventory systems.
  • Experience in high-volume or cafe-style kitchens.
  • Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn and grow.
