Role & responsibilities

  1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping*

* Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.

* Record journal entries, prepare ledgers, and manage trial balances.

* Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

*2. Reconciliation & Payments*

* Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

* Prepare and process payments, ensuring timely clearance of vendor invoices and staff reimbursements.

* Assist in TDS, GST, PF, PT, and other statutory compliance.

*3. Payroll Support*

* Support HR and Chief Accountant in payroll processing.

* Maintain payroll records and assist in generating payslips.

*4. Reporting & Documentation*

* Prepare routine reports for management and audit purposes.

* Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions.

* Assist in audits by providing required financial records.

*5. Coordination & Process Improvement*

* Work closely with other departments like Administration, HR, and Procurement.

* Recommend improvements in accounting processes and efficiency.
