Aspire Systems is currently on the look-out for In-house Legal counsel with expertise in Contract Management

Work Location: Chennai (Siruseri - SIPCOT IT Park)

Qualification: LLB/LLM or any equivalent degree related to Law

Required Experience : 2 to 5 Years

  1. Contract Lifecycle Management
    • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts in compliance with Aspires guidelines, ensuring a clear understanding of legal implications.
    • Maintain oversight of contract execution, renewals, amendments, and terminations

  2. SOW Review
    • Analyze SOWs to eliminate conflicting terms and secure more favourable conditions compared to the MSA. Ensure SOW number sequence is accurate

  3. Stakeholder Engagement
    • Maintain good rapport with stakeholders

  4. Documentation
    • Organize legal files, maintain version control, and ensure accuracy in contract and compliance records for easy retrieval and reference.
    • Document approvals & deviations in the legal repository

  5. Training & Development
    • Complete all assigned trainings within the stipulated timeline to enhance legal and business acumen
    • Actively participate in trainings nominated

  6. TAT compliance
    • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks, contracts, and compliance filings without delays (including CR & BIA).

  7. Tracking & Reporting
    • Maintain and update legal trackers on timely basis

  8. Responsiveness Ensure prompt response to calls and emails
    • Minimize escalations through proactive communication with stakeholder

Key Requirements:

  1. In-House Legal Experience: Previous experience in an in-house legal department or similar role is preferred.
  2. Contract Management & Compliance: Proficiency in managing contracts and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Attention to Detail & Communication: Strong attention to detail, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Multitasking & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
