Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and Intermediates to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Identify, engage, and manage key domestic and international customers in regulated and semi-regulated markets.
- Generate new business opportunities by expanding customer base and building strong industry relationships.
- Coordinate with the R&D and Production teams to align product availability, quality, and timelines with client requirements.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and pricing strategies.
- Negotiate contracts, finalize orders, and ensure on-time order execution and dispatch.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles, including lead generation, quotation, follow-up, and post-sales support.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products and brand visibility.
- Prepare and submit periodic sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Education: Any Graduate, B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry, Pharmacy) or MBA (Marketing / International Business).
- Experience: 510 years in API and Intermediates Sales / Business Development with a proven track record.
- Strong network of clients and distributors in domestic and export markets.
- Good understanding of product portfolio, technical data, and regulatory documentation (COA, MSDS, DMF, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead a small sales team and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
- Willingness to travel extensively for business meetings and client visits.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of handling high-value clients independently.
