Role Description

1.
 
Banking & Institutional Liaison

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with partner banks and NBFCs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and loan providers.
  • Work out service terms, turnaround times, and partnership benefits that work for both sides.
  • Stay in the loop on the latest education loan products, eligibility rules, and compliance updates.

Loan Process Management

  • Oversee the entire student loan application journey from start to finish.
  • Make sure all required documents are collected and verified on time.
  • Keep an eye on each applications progress and step in quickly if anything gets stuck.

Team Management

  • Lead and support a team of loan officers/executive.
  • Assign tasks, set clear goals, and regularly check in on performance.
  • Organize training sessions to keep the team sharp on both product knowledge and processes.
  • Ensure high-quality service and quick resolution of student queries.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain regular MIS reports and loan tracking dashboards.
  • Share regular updates, highlighting approvals, delays, or problem areas.
  • Work closely with the admissions and counselling teams to provide a smooth pre- and post-loan experience for students

Overseas Travel & Accommodation:

  • Coordinate with travel partners to arrange international air tickets and student accommodation bookings.
  • Ensure timely communication with students regarding travel itineraries and stay options.
  • Negotiate rates with travel vendors and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Forex & Prepaid Cards:

  • Facilitate foreign exchange services and international prepaid card issuance.
  • Guide students on forex requirements and usage policies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to forex transactions

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Loans and Finance
  • Strong Customer Service and Communication skills
  • Experience in Underwriting
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
  • Experience in the education consultancy sector is a plus
