Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Game Developer Intern. The intern will assist in game programming, gameplay programming, and developing new game features. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, participating in design discussions, debugging and improving existing game mechanics, collaborating with designers to create engaging gameplay experiences, and learning about the integration of AI and machine learning in game development.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Game Programming, Gameplay Programming, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Understanding of Game Design principles
  • Strong programming foundations and problem-solving abilities
  • Passion for gaming and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, or other game development platforms is a plus
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field
