Role Overview:

This role shall lead Commercial of the shelf software department. In this role, you would drive roadmap and achieve strategic business objectives for the department. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, vendor management, and ensuring the effective integration of COTS solutions to meet business needs. The Head of COTS Technology will also play a leading role in

driving digital transformation initiatives and ensuring the security and reliability of the organization's technology infrastructure. The role shall collaborate with the Technology leader and other departments. You shall balance the risks, help define our application architecture and ensure effective execution through prioritization and governance, and build an industry leading team through recruitment, training, and development.

Education: A bachelor's degree from a Tier I institutes

Prerequisites

Strong understanding of COTS lifecycle – evaluation, selection, implementation and maintenance

Experience in ERP implementation and maintenance

Experienced with planning, estimating, organising, and delivering on multiple projects

Ability to articulate solutions and process designs clearly

Good web development background (SQL, RDBMS, Java, HTML5, NET) is a plus.

Experience

Candidates should have at least 15 years of hands-on experience in complex Enterprise Solution – Software products lifecycle management with at least 5+ years in a leadership role

Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a proven ability to align Technology initiatives with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes

Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a strong team player.
