
HR Payroll Executive

Job role
Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation and compliance with attendance records, leave management, statutory deductions, state-specific labour laws, tax provisions, and timely statutory payments and filings for Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance, Labour Welfare Fund, and Professional Tax.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute payroll processing, ensuring punctual and accurate salary payments as per attendance and leave data .
- Manage and verify attendance and leave records to ensure accurate records and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure statutory deductions and payments (PF, ESI, LWF, P Tax) are processed in compliance with applicable state-specific labour laws.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable labour laws and tax regulations relevant to various states and ensure payroll practices remain compliant.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and upload/submit all statutory returns and reports (PF, ESI, LWF, P Tax) within timelines.
- Respond to employee queries related to payroll, statutory deductions, payslips etc.
- Prepare and reconcile periodic payroll reports and statements for management review.
- Support audits of payroll and statutory compliance, including documentation.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelors' Degree with minimum 1 year or experience with payroll processing and statutory payments.
- Knowledge of Payroll laws and state-specific statutory requirements (PF, ESI, LWF, P Tax, Gratuity, Bonus).
- Strong attention to detail and written communication skills.
