Role Overview

The MIS Expert ensures smooth coordination between departments — SEO, Content, Graphics, Social Media, Website, and PPC — by maintaining a real-time Management Information System (MIS) that tracks project progress, task allocation, deadlines, and output quality.

This role combines data management, workload planning, and inter-department coordination to make sure all projects move as per the content calendar and delivery timelines.

The MIS Expert is the control centre of production — ensuring every department has balanced work, no deadlines are missed, and all data is accurately reported for management review.

Key Responsibilities (KRA)

1. MIS & Data Management

• Maintain and update master MIS sheets for all departments (SEO, Content, Graphics, Social Media, Website, PPC).
• Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project status, department productivity, and pending tasks.
• Ensure accuracy of task data, deliverable timelines, and work allocation in the MIS system or Excel tracker.
• Track deviations between planned vs actual delivery.

2. Production Coordination

• Monitor the entire production flow to ensure smooth delivery according to the content calendar.
• Coordinate with team leads to confirm task completion and highlight any bottlenecks.
• Prepare a daily "Production Dashboard" showing the current workload, upcoming deadlines, and delays.

3. Job Distribution & Workload Balancing

• Distribute tasks equally among team members based on their workload and skill sets.
• Shuffle or reassign work when urgent priorities arise or when bandwidth changes.
• Collaborate with department leads to validate workload accuracy and resolve overlaps.

4. Time & Deadline Management

• Create and track timelines for all deliverables.
• Send daily or weekly reminders for approaching deadlines.
• Flag potential risks of delay and coordinate resolutions early.

5. Process Improvement & Reporting

• Analyse turnaround times and identify areas for efficiency improvement.
• Generate performance insights for management review (per department and per team).
• Support the Operations Head in planning new process automation or workload tools.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate or Post Graduate from recognised university and class 10th should be from an English medium school with strong command over English (both spoken and written).
• Excellent in Excel, PowerPoint, and report preparation (PPTs)
• Proficient in MIS and data management
• Good understanding of production coordination and task tracking
• Skilled in time management, follow-ups, and deadline monitoring
• AI-savvy – comfortable using digital and automation tools
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in handling multiple tasks
