Job Summary
Utkarsh Global Foundation is seeking a strategic and results-driven HR leader to head our HR operations and recruitment function. The ideal candidate will bring deep HR expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for building a positive, high-performance workplace culture, while ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent to advance our mission and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Design and implement HR strategies aligned with UGF's mission and organizational objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational structure, workforce planning, and change management.
- Drive HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
Talent Acquisition & Management
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for all functions, including senior and critical hires.
- Build strong employer branding and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-quality talent.
- Oversee succession planning and leadership development programs to build a strong internal talent pipeline.
Performance & Development
- Manage performance management processes including goal setting, reviews, and career progression.
- Design learning and development programs, leadership training, and skill enhancement initiatives.
- Identify skill gaps and create tailored development plans to support employee growth and satisfaction.
Policy & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and organizational policies.
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and the employee handbook in line with best practices.
- Handle employee relations with fairness, discretion, and professionalism.
HR Operations
- Oversee HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration for accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor HR metrics and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure smooth and efficient HR processes to deliver an excellent employee experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Indian employment laws, HR best practices, and current recruitment trends.
- Proven track record of strategic HR management and large-scale recruitment.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
