We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive with a strong background in data entry, bookkeeping, and having an expert knowledge of Excel to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. A strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Excel is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Updating the accounting transactions in Zoho ERP.
  • Maintaining the accounting records in files for the purpose of Audit.
  • To ensure the month and annual book closures are done timely and accurately.
  • To respond to information requests by management and by the Auditors.
  • To manage the bank payments and reconciliations.
  • Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all the control accounts.
  • Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions.
  • Prepare documentation for external/statutory auditors.
  • Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers, internal departments, and partners as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
  • To review accounts payable and advances/prepaids on a periodic basis.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Candidate must be having minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, ERP based accounting software (Zoho experience will be an added advantage).
  • Understanding of the general ledger functions.
  • Understanding of the month/year-end activities.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

Note: Fixed and Variable pay ration for this role 90:10
