Job Title: Air Pricing Analyst Import and Export
Location: Gurugram

Job Purpose: To develop, analyse, and manage competitive pricing strategies for Air import and export shipments. The role aims to optimize profitability, secure market share, and enhance customer satisfaction through effective pricing models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Experienced in pricing and negotiation with all airlines and co-loaders to create competitive and profitable pricing as per customers requirement.
  • Prepare and deliver competitive quotes to clients, explaining pricing rationale and ensuring transparency.
  • Searching and negotiating rates with airlines and other service providers to secure competitive pricing and support team in business from new & existing customers.
  • Work closely with sales and operations teams to understand customer requirements and ensure pricing aligns with overall business goals.
  • Track shipment progress, identify potential delays, and proactively address any issues that arise.
  • Prompt & timely action required on all enquiries.
  • Address issues related to space, rates, and other operational concerns.
  • Convert enquiries into opportunity of business.
  • Negotiate pricing agreements with carriers and overseas agents to secure favourable terms and rates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and finance to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends affecting import/export pricing.
  • Develop and maintain rate sheets for different shipping lines and customer segments and register with them.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Expertise in air freight and other relevant aspects.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills are needed to secure competitive rates with airlines.
  • A thorough understanding of air freight terminology, procedures, and global trade regulations.
  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field can be beneficial.
