Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager – Sales will support the Store Manager in driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, managing daily operations, and motivating the sales team to achieve targets. This role is key to delivering a seamless rental experience for customers and upholding Rent An Attire's brand values.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Assist in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets for the store.
  • Drive upselling, cross-selling, and customer conversions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and styling advice.
  • Handle customer escalations and provide quick resolutions.

Store Operations

  • Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations including inventory, visual merchandising, and stock management.
  • Ensure the store is always customer-ready, clean, and well-presented.
  • Coordinate with the backend team for timely order processing, pickups, and returns.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, SOPs, and audit requirements.

Team Support & Training

  • Supervise, guide, and motivate sales associates to meet performance standards.
  • Assist in training team members on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.
  • Support the scheduling of staff shifts and manage daily task allocation.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track daily sales performance and share reports with the Store Manager.
  • Collect customer feedback and provide insights to improve store performance.
  • Highlight trends and suggest ideas for promotions or campaigns to boost sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Retail, or related field).
  • 2–4 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or store operations (fashion/apparel background preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and lead a team.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours if required.
