Role & responsiblities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain accurate books of accounts as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS).Manage day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP / Zoho Books / SAP (as applicable).Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor ledgers, customer accounts, and inter-branch transactions.Monitor accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) cycles.

2. Statutory Compliance & Taxation

File GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory returns on time.Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance with MCA, Income Tax, and other regulators.Liaise with auditors, consultants, and tax advisors.

3. Payroll & Employee Settlements

Coordinate with HR for payroll processing, ensuring deductions (PF, PT, TDS, advances) are accurate.Handle full & final settlements, reimbursements, and compliance with labour laws.

4. Budgeting & Financial Planning

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and variance reports.Assist in financial forecasting and MIS reporting to management.Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilisation.

5. Procurement & Vendor Finance

Support procurement team in vendor payment planning and contract compliance.Maintain vendor payment tracker aligned with Purchase Orders (PO) and Work Orders (WO).Ensure proper documentation for defence procurement audits.

6. Leadership & Controls

Lead the accounts team, providing guidance and training.Strengthen internal financial controls, including asset management and expense approvals.Enforce IG Drones financial SOPs, especially for defence-grade compliance and audits. onsibilities
