Role Overview

We are looking for a
Manager (Engineering Background)
to establish and lead our Malaysia operations. The role requires industry experience in
Power and Oil & Gas
, strong client engagement skills, and the ability to manage both business development and project execution. This role is suitable for candidates already
based in Malaysia
– either local professionals or expatriates settled in the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage Arudra Engineers' office in Malaysia.
  • Develop business opportunities in the
    Power and Oil & Gas sectors
    .
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Oversee project execution while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the India head office for technical and commercial coordination.
  • Travel extensively across Malaysia for client meetings and project site visits.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Civil preferred).
  • 5–6 years of experience
    in Power and Oil & Gas industries.
  • Exposure to industrial services such as coatings, maintenance, or chemical cleaning is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-handling skills.
  • Ability to operate independently and coordinate across teams.
  • Must be currently living in Malaysia (local citizens or settled expatriates).
  • Proficiency in English and Malaysian local language(s) is required.
