The Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished Team Manager with a strong Analytics background, ideally with exposure to the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary Analytics team, driving operational excellence, project management, and innovative solutions. You will play a pivotal role in process improvement, resource planning, competency development, and effective global stakeholder engagement.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Plan and allocate resources efficiently to support global and local business needs
- Manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Oversee project tracking systems, risk assessments, and mitigation planning.
- Provide technical guidance in Analytics team and review them. Drive & monitor key performance indicators such as First Pass Yield (FPY), On-Time Delivery (OTD), Utilization and Efficiency.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, customers & cross-functional team to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategies for scope addition, team scaling, and long-term capability building. Create and maintain a roadmap for team growth, aligned with organizational goals and future technology trends.
- Identify skill gaps and implement strategies for competency development and career growth. Conduct regular team/individual performance reviews and set development plans.
- Drive recruitment and onboarding of new team members to support business expansion. Manage budgeting and invoicing processes.
- Establish and manage productive relationships with global/local vendors and third parties, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Create comprehensive packages to define the PGTR reporting methodology and share this across other business units.
- Provide frequent communication and project updates to leadership to ensure timelines are met and to request support if roadblocks are inhibiting the ability to complete work for the business.
- Supervisor other developers and teach other colleagues about data flows, how to develop reports and build a network for champions who can grow and become data analysts for their respective businesses.
- Collaborate with global stake holders. Perform peer reviews and mentor less experienced BI Analysts on solution approaches and ensuring conformity to standards and quality. Work with technical leads and architects to implement new standards, new technology, and tactical solutions driving the business strategy forward.
- Work in collaboration with the BI Operational Manager to take functional specifications and determine the best practices for report development, guidance for user testing and validation, guidelines for publishing and management of change requests.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Electrical engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years in Analytics roles, ideally in a global or multi-location environment. Experience in the transformer / Electrical industry is a significant advantage.
- Proven experience in managing projects, driving process and quality improvements, and working with global stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to growth and scalability. Strong analytical, organizational, and risk management skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Strong experience in SQL development Strong experience in VBA development Sound experience in Power BI and DAX Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL.
- Server, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio, Tableau Good experience in Data Modeling Knowledge of R/Python/Scala.
- Experience in business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis using Power BI. Excellent communication skills, strong experience in design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions.
- Experience in gathering business data reporting and analysis requirements, working with end users and business units to answer key business questions.
- Experience in identifying new data requirements, analysis strategies, and reporting mechanisms. Independent worker, being able to work without supervision and manage projects assigned yet also be a great teammate when called upon.
- Requires broad knowledge of manufacturing operations, business processes, business tools and the flow of data.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
