Role & responsibilities :
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for silicone sealants in assigned region/territory.
- Identify and develop new customers, dealers, applicators, contractors, and OEMs.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and generate repeat business.
Market Coverage & Expansion
- Develop and expand distributor/dealer network for sealant products.
- Visit project sites, meet consultants, architects, builders, and contractors to promote product usage.
- Identify new project opportunities and gather market intelligence.
Technical Support & Product Promotion
- Conduct product demos, technical presentations, and training for customers, applicators, and dealers.
- Provide technical advice on product selection, usage, and application methods.
- Coordinate with the technical/R&D team to address customer complaints or product queries.
Order Processing & Collection
- Ensure timely order booking, dispatch coordination, and delivery follow-ups.
- Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely collections as per company credit policy.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain and submit daily/weekly sales reports, visit reports, and pipeline updates.
- Report competitor activities, pricing, and new product trends.
- Coordinate with the production, logistics, and accounts teams for smooth order execution.
Requirement Criteria:
- Candidate must have experience of B2B sales from construction chemicals, sealants & adhesives, building materials, or related chemical industry.
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools, and ERP systems.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Should have handled direct sales to dealers/distributors, OEMs, contractors, or industrial clients.
