Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse with hands-on Operation Theatre (OT) experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in patient care, surgical assistance, and post-operative management, ensuring the highest standards of healthcare and safety for all patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain the OT, surgical instruments, and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions during surgery and post-operatively.
  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and OT documentation.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, infection control guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Participate in emergency procedures and provide critical support when required.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • GNM or B.Sc Nursing (Registered with Kerala Nursing Council)
  • Proven experience in Operation Theatre nursing is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and aseptic techniques.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
