Patient care:

• Assist with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support patients with mobility, helping them move from beds to wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Assist with toileting and personal hygiene needs.
• Help with feeding and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
• Monitor and report any changes in a patient's condition to nursing staff.

Assisting medical staff:

• Help nurses with procedures such as wound dressing.
• Assist in checking vital signs like temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Prepare and maintain patient rooms, beds, and their personal belongings.
• Respond to patient calls and assist as instructed.

Maintaining the environment:

• Ensure a clean and safe patient area by following hygiene protocols and cleaning/disinfecting surfaces.
• Properly dispose of medical waste according to hospital guidelines.
• Clean and maintain medical equipment under supervision.

Administrative and support duties:

• Transport lab samples, medications, and documents within the hospital.
• Maintain records of patient activities as instructed.
• Perform other non-clinical tasks like delivering messages.
