Seeking a JIRA resource with over 8 years of experience to take on the role of overseeing the Clients JIRA Platform. The responsibilities for this position include:

Platform Management:

·      Oversee the day-to-day administration, configuration, and maintenance of the JIRA platform.

·      Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of the JIRA system.

User Support:

·      Provide assistance and support to end-users in utilizing JIRA effectively.

·      Address and resolve user issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide guidance on best practices.

Customization:

·      Customize JIRA workflows, screens, fields, and other configurations based on the organization's needs.

·      Implement and manage custom schemes and configurations.

Integration:

·      Integrate JIRA with other tools and platforms to facilitate seamless collaboration and data flow.

·      Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper integration with version control systems, build tools, and other relevant tools.

Security and Access Control:

·      Implement and manage security measures, including access controls and permissions.

·      Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

Reporting and Dashboards:

·      Create and maintain JIRA reports and dashboards to provide insights into project progress and performance.

·      Collaborate with teams to design meaningful and actionable reports.

Upgrades and Patching:

·      Plan and execute JIRA software upgrades and apply patches as needed.

·      Test and validate new releases to ensure compatibility with existing configurations.

Training and Documentation:

·      Conduct training sessions for users and teams on JIRA functionalities and best practices.

·      Create and maintain documentation on JIRA processes, configurations, and guidelines.

Issue Resolution:

·      Investigate and resolve technical issues, bugs, or system errors promptly.

·      Collaborate with vendors or other support channels when necessary.

10.  Continuous Improvement:

·      Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the JIRA environment.

·      Stay updated on new JIRA features and functionalities and assess their relevance to the organization.

11.  Collaboration:

·      Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and project management teams, to align JIRA configurations with project requirements.

12.  Performance Monitoring:

·      Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize JIRA's performance.
