Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAS Administrator to join our team. The SAS Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of SAS (Statistical Analysis System) software environments. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise in SAS and a deep understanding of system performance optimization and data security.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain SAS software, including SAS servers, clients, and third-party components.

Configure and manage SAS metadata, user permissions, and authentication protocols.

Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as applying patches, updates, and hotfixes.

Manage backup and recovery processes for SAS environments. Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues promptly.

Provide technical support to SAS users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAS applications and data.

Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for end-users and technical staff.

Ensure that SAS environments comply with organizational security policies and standards.

Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

Monitor system performance and resource usage, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks.

Optimize SAS processes and workflows to improve efficiency and performance.

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate SAS with other systems and applications.

Work closely with data analysts, statisticians, and business users to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
