Vice President: Software Division to lead our software product development function and drive business innovation through scalable and secure digital solutions. This role presumes strong technical expertise with visionary leadership. The candidate will architect solutions, manage product development initiatives, create and mentor high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

  • Lead the development of scalable and secure software products and applications.
  • Drive best practices in SDLC, CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and automation.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, particularly Cloud, SaaS, DevOps, Mobile applications, and other emerging platforms.

Application Development & Delivery

  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle: from concept to delivery and maintenance.
  • Champion a culture of innovation and quality with a product-focused mindset.
  • Ensure successful delivery of projects through planning, prioritization, and execution excellence.

Team & Culture Building

  • Recruit, manage, and mentor a diverse team of software engineers, architects, QA, and DevOps professionals.
  • Build a high-performance development culture focused on ownership, collaboration, and growth.
  • Conduct performance reviews, define skill-development roadmaps, and succession planning.

Process & Project Governance

  • Establish and enforce robust software development policies, controls, and standards.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and business leaders to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Maintain a transparent reporting structure with status updates, roadmaps, and KPIs.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage third-party vendors, software contracts, and negotiations.
  • Ensure cost-effective development through internal capabilities and strategic outsourcing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • 15+ years of software development experience with at least 4+ years in senior level roles. (Non-Negotiable)
  • Strong experience in full-stack development using languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Deep expertise of System architecture, APIs, microservices, Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, CI/CD, DevOps tools, and software lifecycle management.
  • Proven success in leading teams delivering enterprise SaaS or mission-critical applications.
