Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Accountant at MorSer Solutions. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, including preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledger accounts, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

 Responsible for the month and quarter-end close process for each of our division.

 Journal entries, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals & prepaid expenses.

 Planned and ensured structured P&L and Balance Sheet reviews with functional teams

 Compile and analyze general ledger detail to prepare entries to accounts and document business

transactions

 Correction journal & reclassification/relocation journal

 Intercompany accounting – entries, reconciliation & settlement

 Fixed Assets – Creation, capitalization, depreciation, transfer, disposal & reconciliations

 Assist in internal & external audits (annual audit process and other tax reporting process)

 Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies

 Perform month-end and year-end close processes

 Work closely with the accounting department to clear technical matters, report monthly and quarterly

accounting updates

 Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP) departments

 Reconcile the inventory costing difference – actual vs accrued and investigate the differences.

Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree Accounting or Finance

 4-5 years of accounting/bookkeeping, financial reporting, analysis experience; Recent public accounting

experience is a plus

 Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, pivot reporting, VLOOKUP, advanced charting, advanced

formulas)

 Excellent communication skills

 Strong client service orientation

 Team player and still have the ability to work independently
