Functional Consultant

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Technical Consultant (ABAP/Fiori/UI5/CPI/PI/PO) with hands-on S/4HANA expertise to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex SAP solutions using ABAP, Fiori/UI5, CPI, PI/PO, and S/4HANA integration.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and innovative SAP solutions.

• Develop, customize, and optimize SAP applications, interfaces, and workflows across on-premise and cloud environments.

• Configure and troubleshoot SAP PI/PO and CPI integration scenarios, ensuring seamless system connectivity and data consistency.

• Support and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, implementing responsive, user-friendly interfaces aligned with business needs.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring best practices in SAP development and integration.

• Conduct system analysis, performance tuning, and debugging across SAP ABAP, Fiori, CPI, PI/PO, and S/4HANA landscapes.

• Manage end-to-end technical testing, including unit testing, system testing, and integration testing.

• Document technical designs, configurations, custom developments, and integration processes comprehensively.

• Assist in rollout, go-live activities, and post-implementation support for SAP technical solutions.

• Stay updated on SAP innovations and best practices, recommending continuous improvements to existing architectures.

• Ensure solutions adhere to organizational standards, security policies, and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven experience in SAP technical development, including ABAP, Fiori/UI5, CPI, PI/PO, and S/4HANA integration.

• Deep expertise in designing, developing, and customizing SAP applications, interfaces, and workflows in cloud and on-premise environments.

• Hands-on experience with SAP CPI and PI/PO, including configuration, mapping, and troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development, creating responsive and user-friendly applications.

• Extensive experience with S/4HANA architecture, data models, and end-to-end integration processes.

• Proficiency in debugging, system performance tuning, and optimization within SAP landscapes.

• Familiarity with SAP development tools such as SAP Web IDE, SAP Business Application Studio, and Eclipse.

• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to functional teams and stakeholders.

• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Specialist, SAP Certified Application Associate) are preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

• Strong written and verbal English skills are required.

• Experience with US/EU companies is preferred.

Rate: $11-15 USD/hour
