Role Overview

The Student Welfare Coach helps students have a smooth and safe stay in NIAT-managed hostels. The role focuses on student well-being and acts as a bridge between students, parents, wardens, and university staff. You make sure students' concerns are heard, issues are resolved quickly. The goal is to create a positive hostel experience where students feel supported and cared for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for hostel students on daily concerns (food, facilities, discipline, safety).
  • Keep parents informed with weekly updates on student well-being and resolutions.
  • Coordinate with wardens and university POCs to ensure smooth hostel operations.
  • Submit weekly reports summarizing issues, actions taken, and key trends.
  • Lead onboarding, orientation, and student engagement activities at hostels.
  • Enforce NIAT standards for hostel experience, safety, and student welfare.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in student services/Student support/customer care.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle student concerns with empathy and problem-solving attitude.
