Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architect with 47 years of professional experience, particularly in large-scale institutional and commercial projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of government project processes, be adept in preparing and reviewing high-side and low-side services drawings, and demonstrate excellent coordination skills with consultants, clients, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design development and execution of large-scale institutional, commercial, and government projects.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate working drawings, GFC drawings, and tender documents.
  • Ensure accuracy and detailing in high-side (HVAC, electrical, fire-fighting) and low-side (plumbing, drainage, external works) drawings.
  • Coordinate effectively with consultants (MEP, structural, landscape, etc.), contractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
  • Collaborate with government agencies for compliance, approvals, and statutory requirements.
  • Support project leads in ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Provide design and technical support during all project stages from concept to execution.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits when required.

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of institutional, commercial, and government project design requirements.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp, MS Office (other 3D/visualization tools are an advantage).

  • Good understanding of high-side and low-side services coordination.

  • Strong eye for detailing and accuracy in drawings.

  • Excellent coordination and communication skills for dealing with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving approach and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) Master's in Architecture (M.Arch) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Registration with the Council of Architecture (COA).
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience with proven exposure to large-scale institutional, commercial, or government projects.
