FICO - Senior Consultant

Primary Skills/expertise

• Must be a graduate in Finance/Accounts/Costing related disciplines. SAP Functional experience of 6-9 years. Professional Qualification in Management accounting or Chartered accountancy.
• Comprehensive understanding of SAP FICO including creation of test scenarios, writing test cases and Unit testing and integration testing.
• Good hands-on experience in SAP FI - GL ACCOUNTING, FI - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE, FI - ACCOUNTS RECIEVABLE, FI -ASSET ACCOUNTING & BANK ACCOUNTING. Experience into DMEE AND EBRS & FI -MM INTEGRATION AND FI -SD INTEGRATION. Involved in Automatic payment program configuration. Expertise in Validation & Substitution. Understanding in Foreign currency valuation configuration. Knowledge on New GL and Document Splitting.
• In depth understanding of meter to cash process, end to end billing & invoicing process, core utility process implementations such as move-in/out, reversals and product change.
• Knowledge about modules including billing & invoicing, fica and device management in implementation and support projects.
• Continuous coordination and communication with business process owners of the clients.
• Coordinated and allocated tasks to team for efficient delivery within stipulated time
• Ability to guide delivery projects. Also, must be having experience in supporting RFP responses for FICO, for Practice/Presales teams.
• Project Management/Delivery Management Experience – AMS, Roll-out, Upgrades, New implementations
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Manufacturing or any other industry

Preferred skills/expertise

• Ability to articulate why S/4HANA, RISE with S/4HANA etc., topics. In depth conceptual understanding about Solution Manager, Fiori, Readiness Check, Custom code analysis, Business Scenario Recommendation, Transformation Navigator, EWA etc.,
• Functionalities understanding about SAP Applications such as IBP, Ariba, SAC, CX, HXM, BTP and IoT Platform is preferred.
• Last 3 – 4years in similar capacity preferably in an Indian Tier 1/2 or Global Tier 1/2 company offering similar services.
• Has clarity of thought and must be able to communicate complex functional concepts to senior business executives & CXOs in a lucid and persuasive manner.
• Always finds a way to win, achieve objectives and milestones, through strong leadership, excellent execution. Also, whenever necessary, through hands-on demos preparation, experimentation etc.,
• Persuasive presenter with demonstrated talent in establishing relationships over emails, phone and in person.
• Proven track record in performance-based engagements
• Must be open for business travel to Birlasoft and their prospects/customers offices across geographies.
• Domain experience in Manufacturing (Med-device preferred)
• End to End SAP S/4HANA implementations as Sr.Consultant /Lead role.
• International project experience (Global Template + Multi Countries Roll Out) preferred.

Role & Responsibilities

• Drive solution & competency development roadmap in FI - AR, FI - AP Configuration space both from a Technology as well as from our focus Verticals perspective.
• Provide Thought Leadership, Proposal – solutioning, estimation, responses and defense for net new and delivery led opportunities.
• Understandability of scope of work included As-Is study, To-Be analysis, configuration, modification to suit the clients' requirements, user documentation and user training.
• Setting up of Document number ranges, Customer account groups, Vendor account groups. Configuration of Terms of Payment.
• To be able to create training and execution documents for standard and custom SAP process.
• Able to create and configure of billing master data - billing schema, rates, rate categories, facts, line items, price keys, operands, and rate types.
• Knowledge of business & technical master data. Worked on Incidents, service requests and change requests in SNOW.
• Able to perform creation of configuration specification documents and user manuals.
• Should be able to perform billing scenarios - periodic billing, manual billing, billing adjustment, final billing, interim billing, and reversals. Creation of rates that include vat and special discounts. Worked on special cases like device removal/exchange and house lock. Creation of configuration specification documents and user manuals.
• Resolving the issues within the time limit specified in SLA
• Support at transaction level to the users. Interacting with users on day-to-day basis for timely closing of the tickets.
• Creation of company codes, business area, chart of accounts, G/L master data.
• Comprehensively able to define and assign number ranges, field status variant, document number ranges.
• Configured recurring entries for automatic G/L postings.
• Knowledge about multiple systems such as CRM, IS-U & M.D.M.S is an add-on.
• Work closely with Functional/Technical/BD&A/HXM/DSC Practices etc, Sales, Delivery, Marketing, Alliance teams to refine value propositions based on market and industry intelligence in Technical areas.
