About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
SAP FICO Director
to lead our Finance & Controlling (FICO) function within SAP. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, overseeing SAP FICO implementations, ensuring seamless integration with business processes, and managing a team of SAP professionals. This role requires a strong blend of business acumen, SAP expertise, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the SAP FICO function across the organization.
  • Lead large-scale SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, and support projects.
  • Partner with senior business leaders (CFO, Finance, Operations) to align SAP solutions with organizational goals.
  • Oversee integration of FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory financial requirements in SAP.
  • Drive continuous improvement in SAP finance processes, reporting, and analytics.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with SAP implementation partners.
  • Mentor and lead a team of SAP consultants, analysts, and managers.
  • Establish governance, best practices, and KPIs for FICO performance and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive SAP FICO experience, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Strong functional knowledge of
    General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, and Product Costing
    .
  • Proven experience in leading end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.
  • Solid understanding of financial compliance, taxation, IFRS, and GAAP principles.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to drive digital transformation and financial automation through SAP.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Information Technology (MBA preferred).
  • SAP certification in FICO / S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
