RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

Developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet the company's needs and achieve

cost reductions while maintaining quality standards.

Lead and manage a team of purchasing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure

the smooth operation of the department.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement requirements and assist

in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.

Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term

relationships to optimize the company's procurement process.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and industry regulations, and provide

guidance to the team on best practices.

Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and identify potential

opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.

Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with budgetary

constraints.

Monitor supplier performance, including delivery times, quality of goods, and adherence to

contract terms, and address any issues or disputes that may arise.

Manage inventory levels, forecast future needs, and optimize stock levels to avoid shortages or

excess.

Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely payment to suppliers and resolve any

payment discrepancies.

Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including cost savings, supplier

performance, and market trends, to senior management.

Support, verify, monitor & follow up

Final stage of negotiation with vendor

Handle vendor related issues.

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent Negotiation Skills

Good in vendor handling

Technical graduate preferred.
