Illustrated Parts Catalog Author - Intern
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine data analysis duties and prepares IPC/IPD data.
Performs cross-referencing tasks and verifies information.
Performs analysis of BOM (Bill of materials) and Engineering drawings to create Installation/Assembly breakdown of parts using authoring tools.
Revise Illustrated Parts Catalog to reflect parts interchangeability, Pre/Post configuration service bulletin changes.
Follows desktop procedures, publications standards and government/customer specifications for authoring.
Perform mark-up creation as inputs for illustrations.
Learns to recognize non-conformities in accordance with established procedures and suggests recommendations for corrections.
Compares product to incoming source data for the purpose of verifying technical accuracy.
Performs basic formatting and cataloging of sub-assemblies and components in order as defined by established procedures and specifications.
Rejection analysis for every error received.
Manufacturing Engineer Intern
Job Responsibilities:
· You will execute the technical projects with the supervision of Technical lead engineer or Technical experts, reporting to Engineering Manager.
· You will assist Production Engineering requirements for Interiors and systems of aircraft /Aerospace Assemblies
· You will take technical guidance and mentorship during project execution.
· You will collaborate with team members during project execution and shall provide a periodic update on project progress, quality metrics, project summaries, and other related documents.
· You will provide assistance in converting the customer requirements to project deliverables and define suitable processes to achieve the desired results/outcome.
· You will assist in creating statements of work, estimates, resource plans, and schedules
· You will pro-actively seek information and assist to complete the work statements.
· You will assist the experts in applying use of design automation, AI/ML modeling wherever possible.
· You will assist in building technical performance metrics to measure project progress and ensure compliance with requirements.
· You will assist in domestic and global teams from a modern innovative and collaborative environment.
· You shall assist teams in out of the box and apply problem-solving skills to find solutions appropriately.
· You will assist in gathering relevant data for root cause analysis and produce changes to resolve the discrepancies in design packages.
Data Engineer Intern
Job Responsibilities:
Utilizes engineering data knowledge, maintenance operational knowledge and pertinent regulations that guarantee product reliability, safety and efficiency.
Locate source data from the applicable files and systems.
Perform analysis from either pre-set-up packages or from original source data.
Perform production roles as assigned.
Follows desktop procedures, publications standards and government/customer specifications for authoring and illustrations.
Verify information and check for discrepancies. Make changes as required.
Marks up illustrations and submits using established procedures.
Uses effective communication to work through problems and ensures timely delivery of authoring tasks.
Support Engineering Data Intern
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine data analysis duties by referring different types of source data Engineering Drawings, Service Bulletins, Technical manuals , Data Sheet, Manufacturers and supplier's portals
Design, develop and re purpose product content to fit the digital communication channels, and the communication strategy
Content strategy for the promotion of Boeing e-commerce platform and new product launch
Compares product to incoming source data for the purpose of verifying technical accuracy
Performs cross-referencing tasks and verifies information for Parts Content Enrichment/ Product content development
Performs analysis of BOM (Bill of materials) and Engineering drawings to create parent child relationship, when applicable
Update the Master data base for configuration changes and document management
Capture the image to be posted in the ecommerce portal in a specified format
Develop technical solutions of limited scope and complexity for customers that optimize their operations and resolve emergent needs
Assists with answering to technical queries, researching the problem, and composing an answer
Understanding of basic formatting and cataloging of Assemblies, sub-assemblies and components
Overall database management to present the data into Boeing ecommerce portal
Communicates ISO processes to company, customer, ISO auditors and representatives
Other duties as assigned by Manager
Structures & Payloads Engineer Intern
Job Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible to support Structural & Payloads of wide range of mechanical structures, systems and other Aircraft /Aerospace components.
This position will be responsible for coordinating and communicating regularly with team members in Boeing organizations and shall provide periodic update on project progress, quality metrics, project summaries, and other related documents.
In this role, the Engineer will work independently or with minimum supervision to come up with conceptual and detailed designs based on the requirements. And Pro-actively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.
This position will participate and support initiatives of Boeing India organization related to engineering excellence, employee development, customer engagement etc.
This position will be located in Boeing India Engineering, Chennai, India.
Good written/Email and verbal communication. Leading discussions, speaking in telecom/videoconference, presentation via PowerPoint/WebEx.
Basic understanding of aircraft certification processes and lifecycle.
Knowledge of Data analytics and awareness of programming languages like Python etc.,
Able to verify accuracy of technical and non-technical data. Gathers relevant data for root cause analysis and produces changes to resolve the discrepancies in design packages.
Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional team.
