About Us

The Asian-African Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation (AACCI), established in 2018, is a non-profit organization dedicated to uniting business leaders and professionals across Asia and Africa. Our mission is to address regional challenges, foster inclusive growth, and provide a unified voice for the business community in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030.

AACCI strengthens trade and cooperation between Asian and African businesses by offering a collaborative platform, supporting integration projects, and reducing trade barriers through targeted advocacy programs.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to join our leadership team as Associate Director. This role requires balancing 70% sales and 30% operations, with a primary focus on driving business growth, strengthening partnerships, and delivering impactful events. The Associate Director will play a pivotal role in client and member engagement, event planning, and strategic collaborations, ensuring AACCI continues to create value for its stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Operations (30%)

  • Manage client and member interactions effectively
  • Drive member renewals, retention, and engagement initiatives
  • Oversee newsletters, communication updates, and knowledge-sharing activities
  • Facilitate MOUs and partnerships with organizations and institutions
  • Supervise accounts, administration, and compliance processes
  • Coordinate with existing chapters to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Sales (70%)

  • Plan, strategize, and execute AACCI events (minimum one event per quarter)
  • Generate new business opportunities through events, sponsorships, and memberships
  • Strengthen market presence and expand AACCI's reach across regions
  • Drive sales targets and contribute to long-term organizational growth.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Minimum Sales Target: ₹20 Lakh+ monthly and ₹50 Lakh+ quarterly
  • Successful planning and execution of quarterly events
  • Achievement of sales, sponsorship, and revenue goals
  • Member renewal and retention rates
  • Growth in partnerships, MOUs, and collaborations
  • Operational excellence in accounts, administration, and chapter management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • 10–15 years of experience in sales, business development, or operations management (experience in chambers, associations, or non-profits preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in event management, business development, and client/member engagement
  • Negotiation and relationship-building expertise with a global outlook
  • Result-driven mindset with the ability to balance sales goals and operational priorities
