Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Data Analyst / BI Developer to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery, to help transform raw data into actionable insights for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Extract, transform, and load data (ETL) using SQL and BigQuery on GCP
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Optimize and maintain existing Power BI dashboards for performance and usability
  • Implement best practices in data visualization and analytics
  • Work with large and complex datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and key insights
  • Monitor and maintain data pipeline performance and reliability on GCP
  • Participate in data governance, documentation, and standardization efforts

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
  • Expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Report/Dashboard Development)
  • Strong command of SQL for data querying and transformation
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery
  • Experience with data modeling and performance tuning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other BI tools or platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for BI development is a plus
  • GCP Certification (e.g., Professional Data Engineer) is a plus
