Transform your career with a Senior Data Analyst position at Shell. As a key player in our derivatives team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality data insights and automating processes to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement robust mapping and workflow solutions, leveraging Alteryx workflows, Excel Macros, and Power BI to drive business growth and decision-making. Your expertise in data analysis, problem-solving, and communication will enable you to facilitate discussions, workshops, and training sessions to identify automation opportunities and define solution architecture.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field, with 4 years of experience in derivatives operations or functional analysis. Proficiency in Alteryx Designer, Excel VBA Macros, and Power BI is essential, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. If you have experience working with third-party applications, such as trade processing and reconciliation platforms, it would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, build, and maintain Alteryx workflows to automate data transformation and reporting processes
  • Create and optimize Excel Macros and VBA scripts to streamline manual tasks
  • Integrate third-party applications to support seamless data exchange and operational workflows
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy of data across systems and reports
  • Design and document functional mappings for derivatives products and processes
  • Build dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business insights and decision-making
