Job Description

His duties will involve overall superintendence over other experts of the construction package. He will guide, monitor, supervise and control all the activities related to supervision for the construction package. He will interact with the EE(NH)/PD/RO and the other officials of the Authority representative. This is the senior most position and the expert engaged as the team leader shall be responsible for reviewing the entire Project preparation and implementation activities of the EPC Contractor. 

Qualifications

a. Graduate in Civil Engineering from recognized university. 

b. Total Professional Experience of at least 15 years in handling Bridge projects (Roads/Rail) Contracts. 

c. At least 5 years of experience as Team Leader/Resident Engineer/ Project Manager or similar capacity in construction/construction supervision of extra dosed/cable stayed bridge projects. 

d. He should have handled as Team Leader/Resident Engineer/ Project Manager or similar capacity of at least one project in Construction/ Construction Supervision of Highways comprising Major Bridge of minimum 1000 m length (excluding approaches) of similar configuration. 

 e. He should have handled as Team Leader/ Resident Engineer/ Project Manager or similar capacity of at least one project in construction/ construction supervision of Extradosed/Cable Stayed Bridge of multi span having at least one span of 100 m length each or more. (the input of personnel in such project should be at least 2 years.)

 f. He should have handled as Team Leader/ Resident Engineer/ Project Manager or similar capacity of at least one project in O&M of Extradosed/Cable Stayed Bridge of multispan having at least one span of 100 m length or more. 

g. He should have minimum 5 years International experience as Team Leader/Project Manager or similar capacity in construction/supervision ofextra- dosed/Cable stayed Bridge Project.

 h. Experience as Team Leader Similar capacity in Operation and Maintenance of Major extra-dosed/ Cable stayed Bridge projects in perennial deap river/sea

Not more than 65 years of age.
