  • Ability to work on complex verification environments and ensure design quality

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced
AMS (Analog Mixed-Signal) Verification Engineer
to join our client semiconductor design team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in verifying complex mixed-signal circuits and systems using industry-standard simulation and verification methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform
    functional and behavioral verification
    of analog and mixed-signal IPs and SoCs.
  • Develop
    verification plans, test benches, and models
    for AMS designs.
  • Work closely with design and digital verification teams to ensure end-to-end verification coverage.
  • Develop
    analog behavioral models
    and perform
    model validation
    against transistor-level designs.
  • Run and analyze
    co-simulations
    using Cadence/Synopsys/Mentor tools.
  • Debug simulation failures and ensure design meets functional and performance specifications.
  • Support
    sign-off verification
    and documentation processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering
    .
  • 7+ years of experience in
    AMS verification
    or mixed-signal design.
  • Strong understanding of
    analog/mixed-signal concepts
    (PLL, ADC, DAC, SerDes, etc.).
  • Experience with tools such as
    Cadence Virtuoso, AMS Designer, Spectre, XA, Xcelium, or Synopsys VCS-AMS
    .
  • Familiarity with
    mixed-signal co-simulation
    .
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to
    SoC-level AMS verification
    or
    top-level integration
    .
  • Knowledge of
    DFT, DFM, or physical verification
    flows.
  • Experience working in
    automotive, networking, or communication
    domains.
