Head of Finance


At Great Kapital, we help companies optimise their supply chain with our plug-and-play tech solutions. We help large companies who are looking to procure goods by aggregating all their suppliers and offer a more extended credit period to the buyer while paying the suppliers as per the original credit terms. This helps them to streamline their procurement operations and reduce the requirement for on-balance sheet debt while improving free cash flows.


You will be closely working with the operations team and the senior management, where the role will involve optimizing our financial decision making


What you will be doing in this role:

Chartered Accountant with 7-10 years of work experience (Fin-Tech operational experience is preferred)

Fund Management:

-Approve plans for daily transactional requirements to optimise trade finance applications.

-Develop and participate in technology approaches for work innovation and productivity.

-Drive trade clearing and settlement processes (accounting process) to ensure all accounts are updated and transfer of money is arranged. Ensure robust reconciliation process.

-Design strategies for better use of trade facilities.

-Ensure facilities are financed and insured on time.

Accounts Payable:

-Robust payment management process- master data set up, payment on time

-TDS compliances

-GST administration and monitoring 

Reporting, Audit management and Compliance:

-Ensure relevant laws and regulations are followed for trade documents

-Robust accounting and book closure experience

-Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management

-Audit management and tax filing

Managerial Responsibilities:

-Manage the department's recruitment and retention efforts.

-Manage the professional and career development of staff.

-Oversee the department's financial budget use against department work plan.
