- Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven Area Sales Manager to spearhead school partnerships (B2B) in your assigned territory. You will be directly responsible for building strong relationships with schools, driving adoption of Creative Galileos solutions, and delivering revenue targets.
Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Pan India ( Guwahati, Siliguri, Vadodara, Delhi, Chandigarh, Vizag, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and onboard schools and educational institutions as B2B partners.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with school decision-makers (principals, management, academic coordinators).
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, product demos, negotiations, closing, and onboarding.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory. Represent
- Creative Galileo at school events, exhibitions, and local educational forums.
- Provide product feedback and insights from schools to internal teams (marketing, product, operations).
- Maintain accurate pipeline, reporting, and forecasting via CRM tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing support for partner schools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Business, Education, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 25 years of sales experience (ed-tech, publishing, school solutions, or education services strongly preferred).
- Proven track record of successfully selling to schools or educational institutions. Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently as an individual contributor, while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable with frequent field visits and travel within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
- Passion for education and child-centric learning solutions.
