About the Opportunity

We are looking for a
Tax Associate
to join our
Tax & Regulatory practice
, offering hands-on exposure to
direct taxation, advisory, compliance, and litigation support
. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior professionals on complex tax matters and build strong technical expertise in a fast-paced professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of
    Income Tax Returns
    for individuals (Resident & Non-Resident), HUFs, trusts, firms, LLPs, domestic and foreign companies.
  • Computation of
    total income, tax liability, advance tax workings
    , and assistance in tax audits and routine compliances.
  • Handling
    assessments and re-assessments
    , including drafting replies to notices and submissions before the Income Tax Department.
  • Assisting in preparation of
    appeals, paper books, and written submissions
    before
    CIT(A)
    and
    ITAT
    .
  • Supporting
    transaction advisory, tax structuring
    , and issue-based research on the Income Tax Act, Rules, case laws, and CBDT circulars.
  • Assisting in
    transfer pricing audit support
    , benchmarking analysis, and TP documentation.
  • Supporting
    international taxation advisory
    , including DTAA interpretation, characterization of income, PE analysis, withholding tax positions, and related documentation.
  • Compliance support for
    Form 15CA/15CB
    and other non-resident-related filings.
  • Assisting in
    FEMA/RBI compliances
    , including ODI/FDI reporting, capital account transactions, and related documentation (exposure-based).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Semi-qualified / drop-out / qualified CA
    with a strong interest in
    direct taxation and regulatory practice
    .
  • Sound understanding of
    Income Tax laws
    , with basic awareness of
    international tax and FEMA concepts
    (training will be provided).
  • Strong
    analytical and problem-solving skills
    , tax and legal research aptitude, and effective
    written and verbal communication
    .
  • Prior experience in a
    CA firm or tax consulting setup
    , along with familiarity with
    income-tax e-filing, TDS, AIS/26AS
    , and common research tools, will be an added advantage.
