Job Purpose:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and grow our Affordable Housing Home Loan portfolio. The ASM will be responsible for driving sales, managing a team of Sales Officers/Executives, building a strong channel network, and ensuring high customer satisfaction in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly business targets for affordable home loans in the assigned area.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base through DSA, connectors, builders, and open market sourcing.
  • Monitor and improve sales productivity of the team.
  • Drive cross-selling of allied financial products (insurance, etc.)

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Officers or Executives.
  • Monitor performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Ensure discipline, compliance, and high morale in the team.

Channel Development

  • Develop and nurture relationships with channel partners like DSAs, real estate developers, and connectors.
  • Ensure proper onboarding, training, and performance monitoring of channel partners.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure smooth onboarding of customers from lead generation to disbursement.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints within defined TATs.
  • Promote customer-centric culture in the team.

Operations & Compliance

  • Coordinate with credit, legal, and operations teams to ensure timely processing of files.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Monitor portfolio health and take proactive actions to minimize delinquencies.
