Main objectives:

  • To read and understand the drawings (GAD, P&ID, Isometrics) and extracting bill of material from various input such as 3D model, piping isometric, piping GA, schematic and assign GF item codes as per customers requirement.
  • Provide CAD support for different purposes like checking feasibility, fabrication, preliminary designed routing in 3D model, etc. and provide finalized spool drawings.
  • Provide design support using software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D for estimating bill of material, updating the customer model with GF model using our fittings and extracting piping isometrics for fabrication.
  • Provide software support to projects for extracting piping isometrics and various report which requires in expediting the project e.g. weld report, material report, etc.
  • Provide CAD and drafting support for creating customised fittings, prefab spool drawings for skids, checking the feasibility of piping routing, etc.

Main Task:

  • To extract bill of material from drawings and assign GF item codes as per customer requirement.
  • To replace the GF item codes of existing bill of material with different system or assign code of required system to bill of material of metal piping.
  • To prepare fabrication spool drawings using information provided by global colleague.
  • To create catalogue for Georg Fischer fittings which are involved in specific project to work with AutoCAD Plant 3D design.
  • To create 3D model of skids or customer routing in AutoCAD Plant 3D replacing GF fitting with customers old/existing fitting.
  • To provide admin support and create piping isometric after completing the model in AutoCAD Plant 3D for fabrication.
  • To create piping isometric drawings for fabrication using Hexagon SPOOLGEN along with weld and material report for expediting in Cardinal Bechtel project.
  • To prepare customized product drawings for local project e.g. PP-H box, PFA fittings, hex bush, etc.
  • To provide spool drawings for fabrication in local prefab skid or spools.
  • To create bill of material for local projects e.g. EDI skid, UPW piping, ship vessel piping, etc.
