
Front Office Assistant

Providing exceptional customer service to guests by handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries. This role ensures a smooth and efficient front office operation, delivering a personalized experience in line with the boutique hotel's unique atmosphere.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Services
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
- Assist with the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide information about the hotel, local attractions, dining options, and transportation.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management as needed.
Reservations and Communication
- Manage room bookings, cancellations, and amendments in the hotel reservation system.
- Respond to phone calls and emails with professionalism and in a timely manner.
- Maintain clear communication with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding room status.
Administrative Tasks
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage guest accounts.
- Reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare shift reports.
- Maintain an organized and clean front desk area.
Other Duties
- Support other departments when required, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Assist in promoting hotel services and upselling amenities.

Skills and Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience in front office, reception, or customer service roles preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in hotel reservation software and MS Office.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Language: Proficiency in Kannada, English & Hindi ; additional languages are a bonus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18, ₹21,000.00 per month
