Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer located in Navi Mumbai. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical components and systems, creating detailed product designs, and using computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop technical drawings. Daily tasks will include collaborating with other engineers, evaluating and testing prototypes, and ensuring designs meet industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field : BE/BTech
  • 2+ years Experience in the material handling equipment industry is a plus

Requirements:

  • Interest in the field of design of Mechanical components of the Cranes

  • Expert proficiency in 2D fabrication and assembly drawings in AutoCAD

  • Shall be able to read production drawings

  • Shall be able to read and implement all mechanical symbols in drawings

  • Basic knowledge of working of cranes, gearbox, motors, structural design etc.

  • Experience in SolidWorks, ProE shall be an advantage
