Software Principal Engineer

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you'll achieve
As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer's business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will:

• Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments

• Prepare, review and evaluate software/storage specifications for products and systems

• Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems/for storage products and systems

Essential Requirements

  • 8-12 years of Good Experience of Unix/Linux systems programming in C, multi-threading and data structures.
  • Good working experience in operating systems and File systems.
  • Design, implement and develop file system software using C.
  • Strong Analytical, Debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools like GDB.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience of working in Scale out filesystems is a plus.
  • Python programming skills
