Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Executive to join our automobile spare parts store. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills and a good understanding of automotive components. You will be responsible for assisting customers, processing orders, managing inventory, and achieving sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and identify their needs for automobile spare parts and accessories.
Provide accurate information about products, compatibility, pricing, and warranties.
Recommend appropriate parts based on the customer's vehicle model and issue.
Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using POS systems.
Handle inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
Maintain records of sales, customer interactions, and stock levels.
Follow up with clients for repeat business or special orders.
Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure stock availability and timely reordering.
Monitor competitor pricing and market trends.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree/diploma in Automotive Technology or Business is a plus.
Proven experience in automotive parts sales or a similar retail sales role.
Strong knowledge of car models, spare parts, and vehicle systems.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or billing software.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple customers at a time.
Preferred Skills:
Fluency in local language(s) and English.
Negotiation and upselling skills.
Valid driver's license (if required for outdoor visits or deliveries).
Prior experience in a retail or workshop environment is a plus.
